Classes& Term Dates

 

Sessions offered are suited to all levels and abilities, in outdoor locations in Clapham & Wandsworth.  Classes include HIIT/ Tabata, Circuits Training, Pure Abs, All Over BodyWorkout and Legs, Bums & Tums.

 

Classes currently available as follows:

Heathfield Road (dog free gardens next to Windmill Nursery) SW18

Tuesdays at 09:15 (35-45 minutes)

Wednesdays at 12.30 (35 minutes)

Thursdays at 09:15 (35-45 minutes)

Fridays at 09.15 (30 minutes)

 Additional locations available by request. 

Classes at home are also available for smaller groups or personal training sessions.

Term Dates for 2019

Spring Term:  Starts Tuesday 8th January, ends 29th March.  Half term 18th - 22nd Feb

Summer Term: Starts Tuesday 30th April, ends July 12th.  Half term 27th - 31st May


Tabata / HIIT (30 minutes)

(High Intensity Interval Training)

A Tabata is a high intensity work out scientifically proven to improve fitness, with the added advantage of achieving post work out “after burn”.  Some classes will be based around the traditional Tabata format (20 secs work, 10 secs rest repeated 8 times).  Most classes will be more general HIIT incorporating body weight exercises, to target all muscle groups across your whole body.  


Circuits (30-40 minutes)

Similar to HIIT, Circuits are perfect for those who want maximum benefit from their workout in a minimum timeframe.  Circuits are varied and fun, and offer an excellent balance of high intensity cardio alongside muscle strengthening and toning, through purely body weight exercises.  It is a fantastic all over body work out, which can also be adapted to any environment – be it in the park with Sophie or at home on your own. 


Legs, Bums and Tums (45 minutes)

With a greater focus on muscle toning and strengthening, this slightly longer class will work your quads, hamstrings, glutes and abs (a.k.a. legs, bums and tums!)


Full-Body Workout (45 – 60 minutes)

A combination of cardio based exercise for improved health and fitness alongside bodyweight resistance repetitions for muscle strengthening and toning.  


Personal Training

Sophie is happy to offer Personal Training services tailored specifically to your needs and goals. She offers one-to-one or one-to-two fitness training either at your home or in a park near you.  For 3 or more, Sophie would put on a class at a time suited to you all, and open it up to others who may be interested.
